Question Full Uninstallation of AirNav
1. Use MY COMPUTER to find the AirNav folder, usually C:\Program Files\sentient\airnav and save your flight plan files to another folder (any file that ends in .pln)
2. Optionally, save your aircraft information and user features to another folder too (ac.csv, ac.bak, featuser.bak and featuser.csv)
NOTE: DO NOT copy the whole AirNav folder. If this is done this process will not work correctly.

3. Uninstall AirNav VFR (Control Panel / Add and Remove Programs / AirNav VFR / Remove )
4. DELETE the AirNav folder completely, usually C:\Program Files\sentient\airnav
NOTE: This is a MANDATORY step. You wont be able to successfully reinstall AirNav without doing this

- For Windows 7 also go to C:\Users|(YourUserName)\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Sentient. And delete that folder too. AppData is not showing you must change option to view hidden folders.
To enable the viewing of hidden and protected system files in Windows 7 please follow these steps:
• Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
• Click on the Start button. This is the small round button ( ) in the lower left corner of your screen hat has a Windows flag on it.
• Click on the Control Panel menu option.
• Click on the Appearance and Personalization link.
• Now click on the Show hidden files and folders option as shown by the red arrow in Figure 2 above.
• Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
• Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types.
• Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
• Press the Apply button and then the OK button
NOTE: This is a MANDATORY step. You wont be able to successfully reinstall AirNav without doing this

5. Install AirNav VFR CD

6. Use MY COMPUTER to copy your Aircraft, User Features and flight plans from your desktop back into the AirNav folder.

7. Open AirNav. Input your codes and confirm operation.
